Solid Sterling Silver sand cast shell Pendant

Made using ancient techniques ‘sand casting’. Here I hand picked this shell in Pembrokeshire , I then made a mould out of sand, and took the shell out, leaving negative space in the sand mould. Molten sterling silver then poured into that space forming the solid shell. All cast pieces are made using this process, which is extremely technical. Each cast can take up to 4 hours and are completely bespoke, not one is the same!
